Templates
Browse and purchase premium section designs from the Marketplace, and how owned items appear in the editor.
Despite the name, a Template here is a design for a single section — not a full page or site layout. Each item is one specific design of one section category (e.g. "Hero · Centered with gradient"). There's no multi-section page template and no "apply this template to my site" action.
What a Template Is
Every item in the Templates marketplace wraps exactly one section design — the same kind of preset section you can already add from the editor's Sections tab (see Sections). Buying or claiming an item just unlocks that one design as an extra option in the section picker.
Header and Footer designs are never sold here — they're always free and excluded from the public catalog, since every site already has full access to every Header/Footer design.
Browsing & Pricing
Go to Marketplace → Templates to browse by section category (Hero, Feature, Bento, Testimonial, Pricing, and more). Each card shows a Free or Premium badge:
- Free — For most categories, the first three designs (in catalog order) are free and available by default — you already have them without visiting the Marketplace at all, so they aren't listed on templates page.
- Premium — A flat $5 one-time price. Everything beyond a category's free designs is Premium, and a few categories (Menu, Portfolio, Services) are Premium-only with no free designs at all.
Pricing is flat per item — there's no bundle or "buy the whole category" option.
Purchasing
Click a Premium item to open its detail page, then:
- Free items are added to your account instantly with a single click — no payment step.
- Premium items open Stripe Checkout for a one-time payment (not a subscription). Once payment completes, the item is added to your account automatically.
Access on a Site: The Workspace Owner Rule
Template ownership is tied to your user account, but when you're editing a site, the platform checks the purchases and free grants belonging to that site's workspace owner — not necessarily your own account. The template detail page states this directly: "Access applies to sites owned by your workspace owner."
In practice:
- If you own the workspace, your own purchases apply to every site in it.
- If you're a team member editing a site you don't own, you see whatever the workspace owner has purchased or claimed — your own personal purchases don't carry over to sites you don't own.
Using an Owned Template
There's no separate template library and no "apply" action. Once you (or your workspace owner) own an item, it simply appears as an extra Free/Premium-tagged card in the editor's Sections tab, alongside the built-in presets for that category — see Sections and Editor Overview. Click it to append it to the page exactly like any other preset section.
A section's design can be refreshed over time. Since the editor always renders the current version of a design, sites using an older purchase may see visual updates to that design rather than a frozen snapshot.
